I do not know want to sound or imply that I already knew most of the things taught to us today, but for the most part of the lesson, I knew majority of the material. If, I have to be detailed I knew how to search for documents on legitimate sites. By checking those sites and their reference I am able to seek what I am looking for more precisely. Moreover, understanding the Google, has been a "luxury" for our generation since all we do is sit at home and surf the internet. For most, teens nowadays, we go to sites such as myspace.com. sweet!
What I needed to refresh my skills on was, the language that relates to the text of all internet sites. These sites have special coding to it that would allow these sites to connect to our computer. I also did not know, that other foreign countries have their own domain two structured digit code.
If given a research paper to attend to, the three most important factors in searching for the right material would have to be:
1) what engine site and how can you trust the professionalism of that site
2)from whose perspective and ideas will you be researching from
3)who will be your target audience?
I do not necessarily have any issues when it comes to exploring the web, unfortunately, people using the web have created sites that are completely useless to the free world. There making it complex to find things a bit easier then what they all ready are. I believe that, finding research facts on the web can be a bit bore but that is a part of life when it comes to studying.
